Ranch Rodeo opens Saline County Fair

Monday night was "Ranch Rodeo" night at the Saline County Fair, which saw plenty of animal-handling prowess on display.

Youngsters had the opportunity to participate in a greased pig contest in addition to a goat chase.

Rodeo riders participated in both individual and team events.

Tonight begins the first night of the fair's tractor and truck pull. The first night will feature Saline County diesel trucks in competition.

Grandstand admission is $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 5-12. A pit pass is $15.

Parking is $5 per vehicle.

Thursday night will feature the second night of tractor and truck pulls, with Saline County tractors along with Saline and adjoining county semis.
