Pinckneyville Community High School senior Elizabeth Bartnicki has been named Murphy-Wall State Bank and Trust's Student of the Month for May. Bartnicki received her certificate of recognition for the award from Carrie Trail, AVP/junior internal auditor at Murphy-Wall. As one of nine students of the month for the academic year, Bartnicki is eligible to participate in the bank's essay and interview competition for Student of the Year, which is awarded at Honors Night, May 6, before commencement for the PCHS class of 2017.
