Eldorado students hold fundraiser in memory of Linda Younger

<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">ELDORADO &#8211; Eldorado Middle School students are raising money in memory of the sister of the school's Junior Beta Club sponsor.

<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Linda Younger, who died March 6, was the sister of Junior Beta Club sponsor Lori Quigley. After Younger's passing, EMS Principal Billy Tippett said Junior Beta Club students decided they would help to commemorate Younger, who was very active in helping Junior Beta Club with its projects.

<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">"I'm very proud of these students," Tippett said. "They took it upon themselves to do this."

<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Monday, at a table outside the cafeteria, EMS students Josh Farmer, Bryant Byrd, Kaci Bayne and Noah Smith sat next to collection jars. The fundraising isn't over, and the students invited anyone who wished to contribute to call the EMS office at (618) 273-8056.
