Police arrest Harper in possible DUI case.

A Harrisburg City Comissioner has been arrested Sunday and may face driving under the influence.

Harper was arrested around 7 p.m. on Sunday after Saline County sheriff's deputies pulled him over on IL Route 13 near Vince Ashley Drive just east of the Harrisburg levee. Deputies report that they believe Harper had been drinking and driving.

Harper posted a $300 cash bond about 9:30 p.m. and was released from the Saline County Detention Center.

Formal charges have not been filed with the State's Attorney's office, which was closed due to the holiday weekend.
