The most recent poetry collection by Billy Collins, "The Rain in Portugal," will be featured at Brown Bags and Books from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, at Harrisburg District Library.

Roger K. Lyons will lead the review.

The presentation will include numerous readings from Collins' book, as well as past collections. The review also will address Collins' place in American poetry and in the broader tradition of English poetry.

In an interview, Collins noted that his poetry has been called "accessible." His style also has been described as conversational -- easy to hear and to read.

Those who attend are welcome to bring a sack lunch; however, food provided by Morello's will be served at 11:45 a.m.
