Eldorado Homecoming week filled with activities; dance on Saturday
ELDORADO -- Homecoming festivities are in full swing at Eldorado High School this week.
Candidates for EHS homecoming queen are Lexa Carney, Rachel Stafford, Olivia Parker and Emilie Farmer.
EHS homecoming king candidates are Garrett Canimore, Braden Attebury, Jacob Traxler and Kale Oglesby.
Junior class attendants are Faith Hooper, Shainna Ralston, Justin Mace and Garrik Quertermous.
Sophomore attentants are Molly Williams and Evan Coyle.
Freshman attendants are Jimma Gass, Liza Carney, Aiden Whitlock and Bradley Boulds.
Today is Sitcom Day at EHS, where students are encouraged to dress as a favorite sitcom character or group. The Egg Bowl is 7:30 p.m. tonight.
Thursday is Purple and Gold Day, with the homecoming parade at 1 p.m.
Homecoming queen and king will be named at coronation, which is 6:30 p.m. Friday, with the bonfire at 8 p.m.
The Eldorado Eagles football team plays the Carterville Lions at 1 p.m. Saturday.
The homecoming dance is 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
