Harrisburg Medical Center has done six endoscopic spine surgeries
While other, much larger, hospitals are just now performing their first endoscopic minimally invasive spinal surgery, Harrisburg Medical Center has performed six, the center reports.

Herrin woman wins Honda Side by Side
Holly Krupp of Mt. Vernon, owner and CEO of Roll N' Up Smoke Shop and Liquor teamed up with Outlaw Motorsports owner Matthew Rice of Harrisburg for a Summer Sweepstakes Honda Side-by-Side giveaway late last month. Out of 12 locations and nearly 10,000 entries, Jacquie Glasco of Herrin was named the winner at the Herrin store location.

Delta Regional Authority invests $1.4 million in local economy
