Illinois Gun Owner Lobby Day is March 10 in Springfield.

Buses from Southern Illinois are departing the Mount Vernon Wal-Mart and Sam's Club in Marion to attend the event in Springfield.

Organizers expect 7,000 to 10,000 people to march down Capitol Avenue to the State Capitol to show support for a concealed-carry law in the state of Illinois, according to the Mount Vernon Register-News. A reception for lawmakers and marchers will be held 6 p.m. at the State House Inn.
