  • Twenty-eight donors were registered to do their part at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday during the 4H Club Annual Blood Drive at the Harris-Pruett Building, 107 E. Church St., Harrisburg.
    "I donate once or twice a year," said John Carrigan of Carrier Mills.
    While getting prepped for the "stick" he said he never misses the 4H Drive.
    Nancy Lambert, University of Illinois Extension Program Coordinator said, "It looks like a successful year. We had six walk-ins in addition to the 21 donors who made appointments. This is a program that involves all the 4H clubs in the county. The members did a great job of getting the word out and inviting former donors to give again this year."
