  • A Harrisburg man wanted on felony warrant charges led Harrisburg Police on a pursuit west on state Route 13 to Williamson County Friday where he was apprehended after a short foot pursuit.
Williamson County Sheriff's Deputies deployed spiked tire-deflating "stop sticks" at the intersection of Old Route 13 and state Route 13 just east of Marion that effectively deflated the vehicle's tires, the driver fled the vehicle and led police on a short foot pursuit until police arrested:
Martin Amburgey, 45, 1101 S. Ledford St., Harrisburg, 1:45 p.m. Nov. 1 on seven charges of failure to appear, driving while license suspended, two counts of aggravated fleeing, possession of meth, possession of 30 grams of cannabis with intent to deliver, possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of weapon by a felon, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. He remains held at the Saline County Detention Center on $20,075 cash bond.
Rachel Lynn Celestino, 28, 1101 S. Ledford St., Harrisburg, 7:25 a.m. Nov. 1 on charges of aggravated unlawful use of weapon, possession of controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of over 30 grams of cannabis with intent to deliver and possession of a weapon by a felon. She remains held at the Saline County Detention Center on $15,000 cash bond.
The chase began about 8:43 a.m. Friday when Sgt. Michael Riden spotted Amburgey's car at the intersection of Land and Sloan streets, knew him to have a suspended license and felony outstanding warrants, activated his lights and Amburgey drove away.
Chief Bob Smith got behind Amburgey's vehicle at the intersection of Capital and Poplar streets and pursued him west on state Route 13.
"When we arrested him he was in possession of a large amount of cash, suspected methamphetamine, suspected cannabis, suspected controlled substance and a firearm," Smith said.
    Celestino was a passenger.
"All the items were in the floorboard and under the accountability act she was charged with the same crime," Smith said.
