One hundred and twenty-five local artisans will display their wares both Saturday and Sunday on the grounds of Southeastern Illinois College during the 36th Annual Heritage Festival.
Donna Hearn, community outreach specialist for the college said the event will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
The Eldorado High School Alumni Band will perform in the student center of the cafeteria at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Booths will offer antique dolls, woodcrafts, furniture, purses, artists at work, candles, antiques, spun wool, pottery, basket weavers, duck calls, photo art, heritage crafts, scarves, hats and plenty of jewelry.
Refreshments will offered in the cafeteria. Full Thanksgiving dinners will be available along with salads, soups sandwiches and kettle corn.
"It is really the first event of the 2013 holiday season," said Hearn.
