  • The Harrisburg High School boys' golf team won a dual match at West Frankfort Monday, taking out the Redbirds 154-172.
Patrick Bittle was low man for the Bulldogs with a 36, tacking on another solid round according to head coach Mike Tison.
"He is really starting to play well," Tison said of Bittle. "Our last match at Kokopelli he played well other than one bad hole. I really think he can keep it up."
Ben Fowler followed Bittle's 36 by firing a 38, while Ryan Williams and Alexander Tison each shot a 40 at Franklin County Country Club.
Dillon Street and Garrett Jenkins each finished with a 44.
Harrisburg returns to action today (Tuesday) at Shawnee Hills Country Club against Du Quoin at 4 p.m. The Harrisburg girls' golf team is also in action today, hosting Marion at 4 p.m.
