"The first half we traded goals with each other (Valmeyer) and I could tell the heat was playing a major factor in ability to move the ball," Harrisburg head coach Mike Stewart said. "Once we settled down and got hydrated in the second half we were able to work our game much better. We did a much better job moving the ball today and finding space. There is still some things we need to work on but I can see they are beginning to play smarter."
Wednesday was the the first game of potentially four at the Metro-East Tournament for Harrisburg.
Harrisburg is scheduled to return to action tonight (Thursday) at 5 p.m.
