BOOGKTBTKT: June Gathering (AKA Bunch of Old Guys Killing Time before Time Kills Them)

The BOOGKTBTKT meets every third Tuesday, minus the months of August and May, at the Meeting Place, a restaurant/bar located in the old barracks building south of town.

These guys tell jokes, and, despite ailments attending old men who manage to cross the 65 boundary line more or less intact (usually less), they laugh at every opportunity. Young as springtime, the waitress wonders what these train wrecks have to laugh about, but is too polite to ask. One of the members, however, having aged beyond politeness, blurts out, “What I want to know is, what is so *#*& hilarious? The joke (name omitted) just told, is about as funny as my left shoulder, which doesn’t work worth a #**^#.” Another of the members (name omitted) responds, “When we laugh we don’t feel the pain, that’s why.” Everyone except the one asking the question applauds, leaving the waitress shaking her head in wonderment.

Otherwise, not a whole lot  happens at the June gathering of the BOOGKTBTKT, held every third Tuesday, minus… just read the beginning for the rest.
