  • At the Tuesday May 14 meeting of the Eldorado City Council the council passed roadblock requests by the Eldorado American Legion for Poppy Day on May 25 and the Eldorado High School Volleyball team on June 8.

  • At the Tuesday May 14 meeting of the Eldorado City Council the council passed roadblock requests by the Eldorado American Legion for Poppy Day on May 25 and the Eldorado High School Volleyball team on June 8.
    Dr. Phillip McGowan presented a request to amend the city's mobile home ordinance to allow him to rent property to campers. The request was tabled for further study.
    The council passed an ordinance approving the City of Eldorado's Electric Power Aggregation Plan of Operation and Governance. Mayor Rocky James read the vote totals from the April election which were 351 yes and 229 no.
    Three re-appointments were all approved: John R. Weir to the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners, Gary Siebert to Police Pension Fund Board of Trustees and Marietta Briddick to the Wolf Creek Cemetery Board.
