Talent contest to be held in McLeansboro
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Hamilton County Fair in McLeansboro is holding a talent contest at 7 p.m. June 20 at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds.
There is a $5 entry fee for all contestants. Entries must be received by June 15.
There are four Divisions: Beginner Vocal (Ages 13 & under); Junior Vocal (Ages 14-17); Adult Vocal (Ages 18 & up); and an Anything Goes Division (All Ages - dance, instrumental, juggling, comedian, magic or any other talent). No bands are allowed due to setup time restrictions.
There will be prizes in all four divisions. The first place winner will receive $100, second place will get $75 and the third place winner will receive $50.
They will have a panel of judges for the event. In addition, the audience will help with the voting. Extra points will be given to the "people's choice" in each division. Ballots will be sold for $1 each.
