Ashton Unthank dropped a game-high 21 points and Kourtney Phillips put up 18 as the Eldorado Eagles eased past Vienna 74-65 in double overtime Thursday night at Duff-Kingston Gymnasium.
After taking a 14-13 first quarter lead, Eldorado was outscored 16-11 in the second quarter and walked into the locker room down 29-25. Vienna extended its lead to five after three quarters, taking a 44-39 advantage into the fourth quarter.
Eldorado cranked up the effort in the fourth, outscoring Vienna 20-15 to force overtime.
In the first overtime session, each club scored five points, while Eldorado finally got clicking in the second session, outscoring Vienna 10-1.
Eldorado shot 35 percent from the floor and made 24-of-29 free throws for 82 percent.
Paige Zertuche and Taylor Goodley each netted nine points for EHS, while Erica Graczyk added eight points. Jacquelyn Artman chipped in with seven points, while Abby Steed scored two points.
