athlete Q&A: Ashley Ferrell

What college or professional athlete inspires you and why?

Candace Parker and Abby Wainer. They both have really good confidence on the court. they know how to be leaders and help their teams win. They were both clutch when their teams needed that big play. They also played college basketball which is what I strive to do.

What is one of your more memorable moments as an athlete?

When we won the Harrisburg tournament for the 1st time with my basketball family. It was a great win to keep us undefeated.

What are your plans after graduating from high school?

I hope to play college basketball and get a scholarship. I just want the chance to play at the next level. I also want to teach grade school like my mom does but teach third grade instead of second grade.
