The Harrisburg High School boys and girls' bowling teams coasted to easy wins over Carterville Tuesday at Ross Cottom Lanes.
The Bulldogs boys won 2772-2327 and the girls also came out on top 2368-2040.
None of the boys played three full games as substitutions were plentiful all night.
Jake Conkle led the way with a 231 and Carter Rice bowled a 219.
On the girls' side, Amanda Stricklin was tops with a 564.
"Carterville's program is not real solid so we played everyone tonight to get them some valuable playing time in the varsity match," head coach Doug Cottom said. "Carter Rice is starting to throw it well after getting a slow start because of football. In fact, Chris Wilsey and Jake Conkle fall into that category as well. We were a little bit better tonight but still have a long way to go. I do think we have the ability to get it done.
"Our girls played what i would call an average set," Cottom added. "No one was really good and no one was really bad. Brittany Hardin is really throwing it nicely and the (Stricklin) twins are solid each time out."
The Harrisburg bowling team is at Paducah Thursday, taking on Paducah Tilghman.
