Carrier Mills man accused of sexual assault

Carrier Mills Police arrested a man Tuesday accused of sexually assaulting an underage family member.

Police arrested Ronnie Dale Wagoner, 33, 255 Carline Lane, Carrier Mills, 12:40 p.m. Oct. 2 on two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault. He remained held this morning at the Saline County Detention Center on $10,000 cash bond.

According to Carrier Mills Investigator Curt Hustedde, Department of Child and Family Services contacted him to investigate a report of a teenage female saying she had been raped by Wagoner.

Hustedde interviewed Wagoner.

"As a result of the interview, I charged him with two counts," Hustedde said.
