Harrisburg Police arrested a man early this morning who had been shot and is believed to have shot at his assailant outside his residence at 500 S. Mill St.
At 1:30 a.m. Harrisburg Police responded to a report of a shooting at that address and spoke with Carlos Flowers, 37, 500 S. Mill St., according to court documents.
Flowers said a man had shot him while Flowers was in bed with a .25 caliber pistol and would not provide the man's name to officers.
Flowers had been grazed by the bullet in the stomach and refused medical treatment.
During the investigation officers learned Flowers was in an argument regarding a family member when the man pulled the pistol and shot at him before fleeing. Officers later obtained information Flowers took out his own pistol exited his home and fired nine shots in the direction of the fleeing man.
Police arrested Flowers on charges of unlawful use of a weapon, aggravated discharge of a firearm, armed violence, no Firearm Owner's Identification Card and obstructing justice.
