  • The Centralia High School soccer team paid a visit to Harrisburg on Thursday where the game was very physical and both teams were hungry for the ball.
In the end, the soccer 'Dogs could not find the magic to stick one in the net and the game ended in a 0-0 draw.
"The Centralia team came to play some soccer today," said head coach Mike Stewart. "They beat us to the ball in the middle which kept us from feeding the outside runs.
"I am pleased with the way our young men are developing. We're a young team and have come along thus far. We still have much to learn, but we are getting there. I am very optimistic about the future of this young Bulldog team."
On a side note, the Harrisburg junior varsity squad was able to put up a 1-0 win against the Orphan JV team.
