Ferrell Hospital announces Capital Campaign leadership

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Ferrell Hospital has announced that Heather Morse, Director of Administrative Services at the hospital, will be assuming administrative leadership for its $3 million capital campaign for facility expansion and building renovations.

"We are so pleased that Heather has agreed to take on this responsibility," said Tom Barry, Ferrell Hospital President and CEO. "She brings knowledge, leadership skills and passion to the project and we look for her to be highly successful with our efforts."

Morse says she is excited and honored to assume leadership of the campaign.

"This is such an exciting time for our community," she said. "We all have the opportunity to make a worthwhile investment in a medical facility that has cared for so many throughout its history. I am blessed to be part of the mission of Ferrell Hospital and eager to get others involved."

In addition to the appointment of Morse to lead the campaign, Legence Bank has made the leadership gift from local business and industry. Pledging $100,000, Legence Bank plans to name the rural health clinic registration area in honor of the bank's longtime former owner, Burt H. Rowe Jr.

Legence has issued a challenge to other local businesses to join the campaign effort.

Ferrell Hospital coworkers have pledged more than $110,000 to the campaign, which includes a major gift pledge and naming opportunity from Barry and his wife, Joan.

Leading the medical staff, Dr. Elliott O. Partridge and wife Darla J. Partridge have donated $50,000 to the campaign and have challenged the rest of the medical staff to contribute, as well.

Leading the way for individual and family donations are Campaign Chair Dale Fowler and the Vince Kasiar family.

To date, the capital campaign at Ferrell Hospital has raised more than $450,000 toward its goal of $3 million. Campaign committee efforts continue.

"We are so pleased with these gifts at the leadership level," said Fowler. "Ferrell Hospital is vital to our community and we firmly believe that this campaign will allow us to advance the excellent medical care already offered and sustain our hospital for generations to come."
