My attempt to get back my somewhat creative juices that had evaporated with stale milk and juice left in the sippy cups under my furniture.

I hope all the dads out there had a good Father’s Day. My husband does lot for our family and I just don’t know where we would be without him. I asked Addison some questions about Daddy and the answers are pretty priceless...
What color is Daddy’s hair? “Black”
How tall is Daddy? “BIGGER!”
What color are his eyes? “Black”
Where does Daddy work? “He gets food!” (No he doesn’t, but often times Daddy tells her he has to go to work so we can buy food, clothes, and toys.)
How old is Daddy? “Three!”
What is Daddy’s favorite food? “Chicken”
What do you like to play with Daddy? “Superhero and chase the bad guys.”
What is Daddy’s favorite show? Star Plums. (She didn’t know so she went and asked him. He said “Pawn Stars” and Star Plums is what she comes back with.)
It makes me happy when Daddy? “Plays toys.”
I love Daddy because? “Well, I just love him...”
There is no denial that Addison is a Daddy’s girl. Often times when Mommy needs just a little extra persuasion, all I have to do is tell Addison, “I’m gonna tell Daddy,” and just like that, I get her to do what I need her to do. And of course there is no denial how important it is for a little girl to have her daddy in her life. And there is ABSOLUTELY no denial how much I need him n my life.
Thank you daddy for working your butt off so I can stay home. Thank you for going extra lengths to make us happy. Thank you for for your humor, thank you for loving us, and thank you for putting up with all the craziness. Thank you for making us biscuits and gravy on Sunday mornings. Thank you for always going and getting me iced coffees.
So if you ask me why I love my kid’s daddy? I couldn't say it any better: “Well, I just love him...”
On my last post I had stated that I didn't enjoy cooking with my kids. Matter of fact, I said I HATED it. I saw this cartoon and had to share it. I think it pretty much sums up why cooking with you kids can be stressful.
