Prep Softball: Eldorado still looking for first BDC win

Eldorado dropped to 3-6 overall with an 11-1 loss to Fairfield late last week

Hallie Kate Oldham took the loss in the circle, going 4.2 innings and allowing 11 runs (six earned) on seven hits, while striking out two and walking four.

At the plate, EHS (0-4 BDC) had just three hits on the day as Katelynn Mayberry was 2-for-3 with an RBI and Sydney Farmer finished 1-for-2 with a run scored.

Earlier in the week, the Eagles dropped an 8-1 contest to Fairfield where Oldham went 3.2 innings, allowing seven runs (three earned) on five hits with three walks and two strikeouts.

Kylee Oglesby came on in relief and allowed one run on two hits with four strikeouts and four walks.

Oglesby and Mayberry, along with Brooklyn Biggerstaff, all paced the Eldorado offense as each had multiple hit days.

Biggerstaff and Mayberry were each 2-for-3, while Oglesby went 2-for-4.

Hannah Farmer, Alexa Haenel and Cassidy Wells all had one hit, while Adrianna Hendrix was 0-for-1 with an RBI, scoring Haenel.

Eldorado was scheduled to travel to Hamilton County Tuesday aand will return home to play the Foxes on Thursday, starting at 4:30 p.m.
