Carly Foster scored 14 points and Kenzie Russell added eight points as Gallatin County dropped a 52-22 loss Saturday night in the finale of the Hamilton County Invitational.
SATURDAY
Herrin 46, Gallatin County 16
Kenzie Russel had eight points as Gallatin County struggled out of the gate in a 46-16 loss to Herrin Saturday morning at the Hamilton County Invitational.
Gallatin County trailed 12-4 after the first quarter and limped into the locker room down 24-9. In the second half, the Hawks were outscored 22-7, including 12-1 in the fourth quarter.
Carly Foster finished with four points, while Jenna Vickery tacked on two points. Sydney Bickett and Caitlin George each tossed in a free throw.
Russell and Foster were both named to the Hamilton County All-Tournament Team
FRIDAY
Gallatin County 50, Wayne City 29
Gallatin County put two players in double figures, including a game-high 31 points from Carly Foster and another 12 points from Kenzie Russell in a 50-29 win over Wayne City Friday at the Hamilton County Invitational.
Also in the win, Sidney Bickett, Caitlin George and Ella Dennison all had two points, while Blair Aundreya tossed in a free throw.
The Hawks, who led 17-13 at halftime, outscored Wayne City 33-16 in the second half to pull away with the win.
TUESDAY
Gallatin County 44, Edwards County 39
Carly Foster scored 20 points and Kenzie Russell tacked on 10 points in a 44-39 win over Edwards County Monday night at the Hamilton County Invitational.
Sidney Bickett scored six points for the Hawks, whileCaitlin George and Jenna Vickery each finished with four points.
MONDAY
Gallatin County 66, Lawrenceville 40
Carly Foster had 28 points, while Kenzie Russell tacked on another 20 more as Gallatin County rolled to a 66-40 win over Lawrenceville
Sydney Bickett added eight points, while Aundreya Blain scored six points and Caitlin George tossed in two points at the Hamilton County Invitational
