Eldorado wins big at CWC

Eldorado put three players in double figures, posting a resounding 73-48 win over Carmi-White County in Black Diamond Conference action Tuesday night.

Eagle senior Aiden Whitlock led all players with 21 points, while Parker Price poured in 18 points and Bryant Byrd finished with 15 points.

Dustin Milligan scored seven for EHS, while Boston Bradley finished with five points. Josh Owens added four points and Gage Heath tacked on three points.

Carmi-White County got a team-high 12 points from Ty Barbre, while Devin Rankin rounded out double figure scoring with 11.

The Eagles, behind eight points from Whitlock, jumped out to a 21-12 first quarter lead. They didn't look back, outscoring the Bulldogs 19-17 in the second quarter to lead 40-29 at the break.

The Eldorado junior varsity team also won at Carmi-White County Tuesday, picking up a 51-44 victory.

Josh Owens led the charge for Eldorado with 19 points, while Isaac Barrett finished with 15 points. Dylan Henshaw added eight, while Trevor Milligan scored six points and Anderson Woolcott tacked on three points.

Eldorado lost a road game Wednesday at BDC West foe Goreville, 65-60.

Aiden Whitlock now sits at 985 career points after scoring a game-high 27 in the loss for the Eagles.

Parker Price scored 14 points, while Bryant Byrd netted nine points. Gage Heath finished with five points, while Nolan Henson and Trevor Milligan each tossed in two points. Josh Owens added a free throw.
