Harrisburg boys pick up pair of dual wins

The Harrisburg boys' golf team wrapped up last week with a 159-210 dual win over Hardin County Friday in Elizabethtown.

The Bulldog duo of Andrew Bittle and Grant Wilson shared medalist honors as each fired a 37 at Hardin County Golf Course.

Harrisburg also got a 42 from Kryaton Morse and a 43 from Evan McDermott. Other Bulldog scores included: Hayden Emery (43) and Colby Morse (50).

The Harrisburg boys' golf team picked up a 160-188 win over Norris City-Omaha-Enfield Thursday at Shawnee Hills Country Club.

The Bulldogs had two players put up rounds in the 30's as Kryaton Morse carded a 35, taking overall medalist honors and Andrew Bittle added a 39 for Harrisburg.

Grant Wilson fired a 41 and Brent Lawrence finished with a 45, rounding out the four-person scoring, while Evan McDermott had a 46 and Colby Morse finished with a 53.

Cord Tucker shot a 45 for NCOE, while Cole Roberson and Zaine Smith each shot a pair of 47's. Colby Prather rounded out the scoring for the Cardinals with a 49.

Harrisburg girls lose at home to Mt. Carmel

Mt. Carmel fired a 155, knocking off Harrisburg (183) at home Thursday afternoon.

Madison McClusky had the low round for HHS, shooting a 39, while Frankie Leigh Nicholas fired a 41. Gracie Behnke finished with a 50 and Kinsley Angelly rounded out the four-person scoring with a 53.

The Bulldogs got a 62 from Ann Marie Podoriscki and a 64 from Jaci Robinson.

Mt. Carmel's Lillian Gotten and Mady Young shared medalist honors as each shot a 36. Daisy Schrader carded a 39 and Maria Kennard finished with a 44.
