Fairfield capped off its third straight season of unbeaten play in Black Diamond Conference after Friday night's 35-13 win over Eldorado at Boz Adams Field.
Fairfield also finished 9-0 for the third consecutive year and Eldorado, who finished 5-4, will now travel to Bismark-Henning in the first round of the IHSA Class 2A Playoffs, which was announced Saturday night.
On Friday, The Eagles got on the board first, scoring on a Jacob Etienne one-yard run to take a 6-0 lead.
From there, Fairfield scored five straight touchdowns to build a 35-6 lead, until Aidan Kuhn got the Eagles back on the board with a two-yard run and Caleb Lindsey provided the PAT for the 35-13 final.
Wyatt Gilbert had a pair of touchdowns run (14- and 1-yard) and Kaleb Wells had a pair of rushing TD's finding the end zone from 3- and 1-yard out. The Mules' other score came from Cade Carter from two yards out.
Fairfield outgained Eldorado 330-262 in total offense as Landon Zurliene and the Mules threw for 79 and Fairfield rushed for 251.
All of Eldorado's yardage came on the ground as Ladayyea Shewmaker ran for 105 on 13 carries, while Etienne had 91 yards on 19 carries and Kuhn had 11 touchdowns for 64 yards.
Wells had 80 carries on 18 yards, while Carter rushed for 73 yards on 13 carries and Gilbert had 10 touches for 70 yards.
