Clinics to offer COVID vaccines for kids 5-11

The Randolph County Health Department is holding special clinics to administer Pfizer pediatric COVID-19 vaccines to children ages 5-11.

Pediatric clinics will be held from 2:30-4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, and from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, at the health department. Call (618) 826-5007 to make an appointment.

The department also continues to host free clinics to administer the first, second, third and booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to adults. Call (618) 826-5007 to make an appointment. Clinics are from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. (unless stated otherwise) on the following dates:

Tuesday, Nov. 30, Pfizer (adult)

Wednesday, Dec. 1, Moderna booster

Friday, Dec. 3, Moderna booster

Thursday, Dec. 9, Pfizer (adult)

Wednesday, Dec. 15, Moderna booster

COVID-19 vaccines and booster doses also are available at Walmart, CVS, Walgreens and Kroger pharmacies.

The health department also will be giving flu shots from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 29.
