March happenings at Harrisburg District Library

<b>Ongoing</b>

Virtual Story Time, live on Facebook Wednesdays at 11 a.m. Children ages birth to five will enjoy stories and songs with Children's Librarian Miss Emily. Learn reading and interaction skills. Recordings will be viewable on social media, YouTube and on our website. Take and make kits for Story Time kids will be available while supplies last. March 3: Letter X; March 10: Letter Y; March 17: Letter Z.

<b>Take and Make Kits</b>

Pick one up any time the library's open. Stop by to pick up a fun craft or activity that can be done at home! The following kits will be available starting on the dates listed while supplies last. These activities are subject to change. March 1: Read across America & Cereal Taste Test; March 8: Butterfly Craft; March 15: Water Color Palette; March 22: Magic Craft; March 29: Things to Do in the Park.

<b>Learning with Lisa</b>

Starting March 1, video will be available on Social Media and YouTube. March 6 is National Dentist Day. Miss Lisa has put together a video of an experiment that you and your family can do together at home. Watch this "Egg-citing Experiment" to learn what can happen to your teeth from drinking soda, try it out at home, and share your pictures and knowledge on our social media.

<b>Facebook Live Trivia for Teens and Adults</b>

Live on at 6 p.m. on Facebook Friday, March 12. Join us for a live trivia over Facebook. Compete to win a $10 gift card to a local business. Open to teens and adults.
