Tree of Remembrance: Drive to fund ultrasound upgrade for Memorial Hospital
The Memorial Hospital Auxiliary has launched this year's Tree of Remembrance fundraiser, with its eye on helping the hospital buy an ultrasound upgrade in order to perform stress echocardiograms.
The Auxiliary currently has $1,893 in donations. Each year the Auxiliary works to raise money to help the hospital buy needed equipment.
The total cost for the ultrasound upgrade will be $34,400, and the Auxiliary will continue to take donations until the end of January. There is no set goal, other to collect as much money as possible to offset the cost of the upgrade.
