Good crowds for Holiday Lights Opening

The driving trail of the 16th annual Holiday Lights Fair opened Thanksgiving night with good crowds. The cost of the drive was increased to $10 last year and the price is unchanged this year.

The grounds are open from 5:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. nightly.

The Expo Hall will be open on the weekends of Dec. 4,5 & 6, Dec. 11, 12 & 13 and Dec. 18, 19 & 20. with a visit by Santa hourly give-aways, free train rides for the kids, model train display, food and crafts and live entertainment.

Here is the entertainment schedule for this coming weekend and beyond.

Saturday, Dec. 5---6:30 p.m-8:30 p.m. Chandra Gilliam.

Sunday, Dec. 6-7 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Pinckneyville High School jazz band and chorus.

Friday, Dec. 11--6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Southern Illinois Concert Band.

Saturday, Dec. 12--7 p.m.-8:30 p.m.-John A. Logan Community Band.

Sunday, Dec. 13--6:30 p.m. Katenna Laforge; 7:30 p.m. Damon Waller.

Friday, Dec. 18--6:30 p.m. Little Egypt Barbershop Quartet. 7:30 p.m. TBA.

Saturday, Dec. 19, 6:30-8:30 p.m. TBA.
