Teri Polo Files for Bankruptcy

Meet the Parents star Teri Polo has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, TMZ reports.

The actress says she has tax and credit card debts totaling more than $1 million, most of which is owed to the Internal Revenue Service, according to TMZ.

In addition, Polo - who's currently starring in The Fosters - is being sued by her landlord for $30,000 after she allegedly moved out of a rental apartment in Los Angeles, leaving the carpets ruined by dog feces and urine, and letting food rot in the fridge.
