Several races were uncontested Tuesday

Probably the most high-profile was Eldorado City Council, which saw four people running for four seats. The next council will include Jeff Minor, who received 681 votes; Bob Briddick, who got 620 votes; Robby Price, with 560 votes; and Jim Morris, with 556 votes.
In Carrier Mills, David Kyle and Tracy Felty were elected to the Village Board. Board members must now try to fill a vacancy - three seats were up for election in this cycle, but only two Felty and Kyle threw their hats in the ring.
In Galatia, Lori Murphy will be the new village treasurer. Steve Sloan, Kenny Clark and Jason Blackburn were elected to the Village Board for four-year terms.
In Muddy, Norman Edgar won village president with just five votes. Frances Bertino is village clerk, having received eight votes. Mary Potter, Matt Molinarolo and John Vincent Molinarolo were elected to the board with five, eight and seven votes respectively.
In Raleigh, Richard Bradley, Aaron Whitlock and Ollie A. Brown faced no opposition in their bids for the Village Board.
In Stonefort, George Jackson was elected mayor with six more votes than Edgar received in Muddy. Floyd Craig, Sue Field and James K. Milburn coasted unopposed to terms on the Village Board.
In Harrisburg Township, Richard Rumsey and Michael Williams were elected to the Park Board.
Marilyn Fodor and Terry B. Felty were elected to the Carrier Mills-Stonefort Library Board.
Janet Davis and Donna Emmons were elected to the Eldorado Memorial Library Board.
Jerry W. Davis and Margie Fulkerson were elected to the Galatia Library Board. Carolyn Gail Hill was elected to an unexpired term on the board.
Harrisburg Public Library Board members elected Tuesday night include Mona Nelson, Leigh A. Leckron and Lynda Clemmons.
