Copper theft investigated: Stripped from home's wiring
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Saline County Sheriff's Deputies this morning were investigating the theft of copper wire from a vacant home on Possum Flat Road.
Investigator Mike Jones said a crime scene investigation team was driving to the scene from Effingham this morning.
Jones said the owners of the home had moved into a new home and returned to the old home to discover the burglary.
A window had been broken, a hole was cut in a wall and copper wire had been extracted, Jones said.
