Roy Walker, Jonesboro Police Officer, Union County Paramedic and great-great-grandson of a Cherokee healer, transforms himself into trader and trapper Two Feathers.
Walker will be in costume and discuss the forts that were here in the 1820s. He will have tools, cooking utensils, clothing, shoes, belts, powder firearms and trade items similar to those used in that era.
Walker is affiliated and certified with the National Re-enactor and Living History Foundation. Walker's 17-year-old daughter is also a certified living history presenter and will accompany him.
The museum volunteers say this is an excellent opportunity for everyone, especially students, to experience living history.
