General Assembly working late on Monday (ADVISORY)

Both houses of the Illinois General Assembly resumed session this afternoon.

Gov. Rod Blagojevich is meeting with House Democrats as of 7 p.m. to discuss the state budget. We expect a story, but the timetable is unknown.

We also expect a story about House ceremonies recognizing Memorial Day. The Senate is working thru its calendar, and briefs are likely.
