New Don Taco recognized as "Bright Spot" in Carbondale
When Don Taco moved down the street to its new location at 780 E. Grand Ave., it brought new color and vibrancy to the area's streetscape. The Keep Carbondale Beautiful Board gave the business this month's Bright Spot award. In addition to the color, nominators also commented on the beautiful stonework, starting at the base of the sign, on walls, and continued indoors to great effect. Manager Victor Paneda said the idea was to be welcoming and inviting. That's also the case with the bike rack, located right by the front door.
