Seeds have been announced for the boy's basketball regionals which begin later this month. In Class 2A at Vienna, Harrisburg checks in as the top-seed. The Bulldogs are followed by Murphysboro, Massac County, Carterville, Anna-Jonesboro and Vienna.
Eldorado is the No. 4 seed in the field in the Benton regional. The hosts Rangers grabbed the top spot, followed by Du Quoin, Hamilton County, Eldorado, Johnston City and West Frankfort.
Other regionals which feed into the Eldorado sectional will be played at Fairfield, where Olney is the top-seed, and at Pinckneyville, where the host Panthers are seeded first and Trico is second.
In Class 1A, Gallatin County is the top seed in the field at the NCOE regional. Hardin County was seeded second, followed by Carrier Mills-Stonefort, NCOE, Pope County and Galatia.
Regional winners from Norris City, Crab Orchard, Meridian and Steeleville will advance to the Gallatin County Class 1A sectional.
