JUCO HOOPS: SIC comes away with split against JALC

The Southeastern Illinois College men's and women's basketball teams split in action Wednesday night at home against John A. Logan College.
The men's team lost 74-66, while the SIC women won 79-73.
Leading the way for the Falcons was Dominique Hagans who tossed in 21 points. Quintrel Morris added 16 points and Robert Calmese had 12 points. Teon Beckett added eight points, while D'Markian Sallie scored seven points and Terrell Lawrence tacked on two points in the loss.
For the SIC women, they were led by a 16-point performance from Jasherrica Barkley and Kenyatta Drake. Ashley Morehead scored 14 points and Porscha Saunders had 13 points. Kasey Glover had 11 points to also finish in double figures.
Arne Whitlock scored five points and Tierra Burks finished with four points.
