Marion edges Harrisburg on wrestling mat

Harrisburg picked up six wins on the wrestling mat in a match late last week against MHS, but the Wildcats prevailed overall, beating the Bulldogs 48-35.

Harrisburg's Sebastian Brown (1150-pound division) beat Brennan Vogt in the second period and in the 120-pound division, Doc Harrawood picked up a forfeit win.

In the 160-pound division, Bradyn Whiting beat Daniel Gilley in the second period, while Bryant Lester (182-pound division) and Tucker Bryant (220-pound division) picked up forfeit wins.

Harrisburg's Neal Martin beat Kanye Gunn in the 285-pound division in the second period for the other Bulldog win.

In exhibition matches, Harrisburg's Keaton Reid (145-pound division) beat Haylie Nappier in the first period.
