Eldorado stays perfect with win over Gallatin Co.

Eldorado put two players in double figures and earned a 56-38 win over Gallatin County Friday night.

Hunter Sizemore had a game-high 19 points for Eldorado, who won their sixth straight, while Aiden Whitlock also finished in double figures, scoring 16 points.

The Eagles got scoring contributions from Bryant Byrd, who scored seven points, while Nolan Milligan chipped in with six points. Ladayyea Shewmaker finished with four points, while Noah Smith and Parker Price each scored two points.

Eldorado jumped out to a 14-7 lead and outscored Gallatin County 13-7 in the second quarter to take a 27-14 halftime lead.

Dawson Hish had a team-high 11 points to lead the Hawks (1-3), while Gunner Wilson netted nine points. Brock Seely scored six points, while Will Henson and Case Rister each finished with five points and Garrett Crane scored two points.

Eldorado is at West Frankfort on Tuesday and will travel to Fairfield on Friday to open up their Black Diamond Conference slate.

Gallatin County is at Crab Orchard on Tuesday.

<b>Christopher 56, Carrier Mills-Stonefort 17</b>

Held to their lowest point total of the season, Carrier Mills-Stonefort lost 56-17 to Christopher at home Friday night.

The Wildcats (3-3) came into the contest averaging 49 points per game and were led in scoring by Caden Van Meter's five points. Colton Mitchell finished with four points, while Zavier Rollins tacked on three points. Colton Betz and Rielly Ward each tacked on two points, while DeAndre Moss tossed in a free throw.

CMSF is at Thompsonville Tuesday night and will host Hardin County on Friday night.
