Panthers come up short against A-J

PINCKNEYVILLE - The Pinckneyville Panthers football team came up a foot short of the goal line in their first drive of the game, and that set the tone for the Anna-Jonesboro Wildcats to take a 13-0 win in the Panthers' Homecoming game.

The grind-it-out offense for A-J resulted in two successful drives for touchdowns, keeping the Panthers winless on the season at 0-6.

PCHS travels to Nashville Friday to take on the undefeated Hornets.
