Bulldogs finish 2nd in Ohio Division at River-To-River Tournament

At Tuesday's Southern Illinois River-To-River girls' golf tournament at Hickory Ridge Golf Course, Harrisburg finished second, behind Ohio Division champion Massac County.

The Patriots shot a 347 and were 83 strokes better than the 2nd place finisher, Harrisburg, who shot a 430.

Madison McClusky finished fourth overall for the Bulldogs, after shooting a 97, while Madeleine DeNeal medaled and was 9th overall, finishing with a 104.

Gracie Behnke fired a 106, while Jaci Robinson shot a123 and Ann Marie Podroiscki had a 131.

West Frankfort was third overall with a 449, followed by Herrin (454) and Benton (455).

On the Mississippi side, Nashville finished first after shooting a 403.

Harrisburg will compete in the girls' golf regional on Oct. 10 at Franklin County Country Club in West Frankfort.
