Harrisburg, Eldorado tie for fourth at Patriot Invite

Both the Harrisburg and Eldorado High School boys golf tied for fourth over the weekend as both the Bulldogs and Eagles fired a 343 at Saturday's Patriot Invitational at Massac County Country Club.

For Harrisburg, Ashton Hall was low man with an 81, while Andrew Bittle carded a 85 and Krayton Morse bought in an 87. Grant Wilson rounded out the four-man scoring with a 90.

Hayden Emery had a 97 and Colby Morse shot a 109.

Eldorado's Evan Coyle shot a 75 for the Eagles, finishing fifth as an individual, while Braden Unthank fired an 83. Noah Smith shot an 86 and Kiaden Lloyd carded a 94.

A.J. Hankins had a 107 and Austin Willis shot a 113 for Eldorado.

Benton won the Patriot Invitational with a 309, while St. Mary (Paducah, Ky.) shot a 312 and Herrin was third with a 326. After Harrisburg and Eldorado, Paducah Tilghman was fifth with a 344, Massac County (A-Team) 350, Hamilton County (354), Anna-Jonesboro (358), while both Vienna and Massac County (B-Team) shot a 425.

On the girls' side, Harrisburg's Madison McClusky had an 88, while Gracie Behnke shot a 101 and Ann Marie Podoriscki carded a 124.

Harrisburg boys and girls were scheduled to be at Carmi-White County Monday and the Bulldog boys will be at West Frankfort today (Tuesday).

The Eldorado boys and girls' golf team were slated to play at Crab Orchard Golf Course in Carterville Monday and will host Hamilton County today (Tuesday).
