Bradley picks up win No. 100 as EHS coach

Eldorado head coach Josh Bradley earned win No. 100 as the boys' basketball coach with a 68-63 victory over Black Diamond Conference rival Johnston City Thursday night.

The Eagles put two players in double figures as Joe Mayberry pumped in 29 points and Aiden Whitlock dumped in 27 points.

Jace Jenkins scored six points for the Eagles, while Bryant Byrd and Ladayyea Shewmaker each tacked on three points.

Chase Shelby had nearly half of Johnston City's points with a game-high 30-point performance.

Austin Brown also finished in double figures for the Indians, scoring 17 points, while Houston Hall tacked on 16 points

On Saturday night, the Eagles battled back to beat Edwards County 63-57.

The Eagles put four in double figures as Mayberry scored 20 points, Byrd tacked on 12, Whitlock added 11 and Milligan tossed in 10.

Shewmaker scored six and Barton finished with four.

EHS will play at Massac County on Tuesday and will be back at Edwards County Friday night.
