Goodley girls named to OVC Commissioner Honor Roll

Ashton and Taylor Goodley were two of a record 1,348 student-athletes that have been named to the

Ohio Valley Conference's Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2017-18 academic year.

That marks the single-largest total in League history, surpassing the mark of 1,337 honorees set in 2015-16.

To be listed, recipients must have achieved at least a 3.25 grade point average, have been eligible and on the team

throughout the competitive season in their chosen NCAA-sponsored sport(s) and used a season of competition.

The Eldorado natives were joined on the list by teammates Riley Cooper, Anna Michelle Moore, Andrea Presilla and Meghann Stamps.

Taylor is majoring in Political Science while Ashton is a Psychology Major and both were 4.0 students this past semester.

Earlier in the week, the twins were named to the Academic Medal Of Honor List.
