Five Austin Peay State University women's golfers, including Eldorado's Ashton and Taylor Goodley were among more than 1,000 nationwide to be named Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars.

Graduate AnnaMichelle Moore (accounting major), rising seniors Taylor Goodley (political science) and Ashton Goodley (psychology), rising junior Meghann Stamps (communications) and rising sophomore Riley Cooper (communications) each made the list, tying the program's 2013 record quintet of honors from the golf coaches governing body.

Moore becomes Austin Peay's first four-time recipient of the honor, while both Goodleys make their third consecutive appearance on the list. Stamps is now a two-time honoree, with Cooper becoming the fifth Austin Peay freshman in the last four seasons to earn the honor.

To be named a WGCA All-American Scholar, a women's golfer must achieve a 3.50 grade-point average or higher and have participated in at least half of their teams tournaments. Of this quintet, four of the five were participants for the Govs at the 2018 Ohio Valley Conference Women's Golf Championships in April including Ashton Goodley, who earned her first All-OVC nod and a place on the CoSIDA Academic All-District squad this season.

"I'm proud not only of what they do on the course but the hard work they put into their academic pursuits," said head coach Amy McCollum. "To put multiple girls on this list year after year is a testament to what this program is about--greatness on and off the course."

At Iowa, Nashville graduate and Hawkeye junior Shawn Rennegarbe has been named 2018 All-American Scholars, the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announced.

Rennegarbe is one of 1,011 women's collegiate golfers recognized with the prestigious honor. All recipients have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.

A native of Addieville, Rennegarbe competed in all 10 tournaments for the Hawkeyes last season. She carded a career-best finish at the Hawkeye El-Tigre Invitational (March 16-17), tying for 20th with a three-round total of 225 (+9).
