Bearcats shut out Vienna

Galatia-Thompsonville improved to 15-1 on the season with a 4-0 win over Vienna late last week.

Bearcat starting pitcher and senior Dani Reynolds got the shutout win as she improved to 13-1 on the year with a six-hitter. Reynolds went the distance, striking out seven, while giving up just one walk.

At the plate, Galatia-Thompsonville had just three hits on the day.

Kennedy Harris was 1-for-3 with a home run and an RBI, while Emma Reagan was hit by a pitch three times, one of which, led to an RBI and Maddy Murphy was 1-for-2.

G-T was scheduled to play at Norris City-Omaha-Enfield Monday and are at Zeigler-Royalton today (Tuesday). The Bearcats will then play at West Frankfort on Friday and will host Eldorado and Hardin County in the teams' annual Pink Out Game Saturday at Galatia High School.
